Hi, just wanted to Ask where Ethics and Medical Law is Found Throughout the Curriculum?
And do you know website and any method where you can speak with students at a specific college (Really keen into Emmanuel College)?
And how does the Teaching System for Dissection work – As in Are allowed to Choose which type of Dissection you want to learn prior each lesson ?
Hiya Marcus! In 1st year we all do a module called SECHI (social and ethical context of health and illness), but it’s a very small module and pretty much all you cover for ethics until clinical school unless you intercalate in ethics or law!
You should try reaching out to the college via email and see if they can put you in touch with anyone. Some of my friends are at Emma, so if you would like me to ask them any questions let me know.
In dissection, you have a set session to go through every week. You are not allowed to choose what you dissect but you can have a play around with the dissection technique you choose – for example, blunt vs sharp dissection.
Hope this helps! Lucy 🙂
Hi Lucy, just wanted to ask a few questions about the SAQ:
do you know the character limit for the additional PS section and should the reflection be in-depth like what you’ve written for the actual PS?
and what types of curricular should you mention (i.e extra or super curricular)?
Hi Marcus
please can you make sure that you send it in for us to do a review before you submit thanks! Dr Siva
Hi, just wanted to ask regarding life of Cambridge:
with Cambridge societies, are you allowed to join another society in a different college you’re in?
and does the marriage system with the students only occur in the college you’re in?
