This is an excellent poster! You have clearly all put a lot of effort in this week! What are some of the ethics regarding giving patients with COVID-19 drugs which haven’t been approved for COVID-19?

Thank you very much Rebecca! Regarding the ethics of treating COVID-19 patients with drugs which have not been approved, we believed that even though they may help the patient at the moment we are unable to tell the Long Term effect. We have written one bullet point regarding a for and against of using unapproved drugs to treat this virus.

The long term effects could potentially be harmful, therefore it would go against one of the core principles of medicine, non-maleficence
