Yes! All of the Medic Mentor Approved Activities (which includes the list of courses below) can be used to fulfil the Awards Categories.

Students who start early have a head start.  That is why we encourage students from year 10 or S3 upwards to attend courses so that they can get access to information early and start working on building their CVs and successfully applying for work experience.

The Summer Schools are only for students in year 12 and S6, however, you can register for them in advance, which we strongly recommend because they do fill up very quickly.

The Department of Health have stated that careers advice across the UK is poor in schools.  Some schools are more supportive than others.  Applying to Medical, Dental and Veterinary University Courses are more challenging than most and require specialist input.  The information that students gain by attending the courses is above and beyond what can be offered in schools alone.
