When Can I Take Part?
The Awards Programmes are ideal for students aged 14-20 years of age. Students can enrol at any time and they will be allocated a Mentor (a doctor, dentist or vet) and a Supervisor to support them through the award milestones.
Students can enter straight into Bronze (Explore), Silver (Skills) or Gold (Succeed) levels.
IF students have already competed Awards Criteria before enrolling, they can still be counted provided that they are able to submit evidence to the Awards Supervisor in the form of a certificate, reference or personal reflection. It is also possible for students to bypass Bronze and Silver, going straight for Gold (because the awards are cumulative), but this will depend on how much has already been accomplished, and will be discussed with your Mentor.
